I have seen many temples and monuments in my life from various religious denominations, but none come anywhere near the ethereal beauty of Amritsar’s Golden Temple. This temple hosts upwards of 60,000 people a day, yet still remains a place of calm and peace. With the religious chanting and songs piped through the entire complex, one can sit, stare, contemplate, pray or meditate for hours. Which is exactly what I did.

Over the course of 10 hours I visited The Golden Temple, enjoyed the serenity, and tried to capture it.  I am not sure I did it justice, but I did the best I could.  You can now be the judge. These photos are

in chronological order.
